it doesn't matter if you've got a routeur or not Buzz... you still need to configure what ports eMule is using

Changing them is a good idea : some ISP block the default ports, which results in lowID

Clear you server list and re-download a fresh list...which means, right click clear server list, and download new one.

And all routers you need to open the correct port for eMule...it doesn't configure it for you unless you have software installed.

Name of servers is not related to the files they index, cause it depends just on the files shared by clients conected to them.Follow these steps

1. Go to Options/Security
2. In Update from URL, type:
http://emulepawcio.sourceforge.net/ipfilter.zip
3. Click on Load.
4. Go to Options/Server
5. Set number of errors allowed before removing the server to 9
6. Click List button that appears next to the option Auto update
7. In Notepad, that is opened, add the following lines in the beginning:
http://www.gruk.org/server.met.gz
http://www.peerates.net/servers.php
8. Save changes in notepad
9. Untick the options to update list of servers when connecting to new server and new client
10. Click on Accept
11. Go to servers window
12. Remove all servers from static list
13. Remove all servers from list
14. In Update Server.met from URL, write any of the URL in point 7
15. Click on Update button
16. If you have selected Autoconnect only to servers on static list add the servers you want to static list
17. Double click on any server

I appreciate all the help everyone I meant to leave a message this morning before I left for work but ran out of time. I turned off eMule for the evening and then turned it back on this morning and it works like a charm no clue as to what happened at all but hey by now I'm used to my computer giving me a hard time when it's in the mood too :lol1: :lol1: :lol1:

Software is mysterious, even an engineer will tell you that it will work, but could have unexpected results or even those icky bugs :loll: Maybe, you ISP was throttling it at the time of the day?
