Donald Trump is no different to the differences here in the UK with our political parties, but some people need to know where the line is.

Politics have always been a dirty game but its still hardening the past few years. Its from all times in the US politics, remember the thirties and the dirty tricks played upon folks by pro and contra parties about the 14th amendment.

As for the UK...Im sorry to say you're close to a Orwell 1984 state.

I do not like May at all and Corbin is a bit to radical to my taste.
Brexit should never have happened but I also think that De Gaulle was right by never letting you lot join in the first place.
I personally have nothing against the English folks themselves but the UK negotiated to many exceptions concerning social and labor legislation.
And yes the EU is a bureaucracy which isn't democratic and should be reformed to a real democracy in which the people have a real say.
The Swiss system is my favorite.

Hmm, the country with the most public surveillance camera's and a harsh regulation of the internet coming with some strange dark laws giving the government admittance to snoop on citizens and gathering bulk information on their internet traffic with a huge NSA affiliate in their country.

Yes the UK openly discusses its various security concerns and needs. Those discussions generally lead to a number of well thought out established rules regards for example the use of surveillance among other concerns. Those rules and regulations generally allow law abiding people to go about enjoying their lives under the freedoms you think are being oppressed. if you think that's Orwellien i suggest you actually read George Orwell, rather than presenting some half arsed dictum that a 13 year old might consider after skim reading 'one of his books say '1984' and well being 13! There's plenty of things Orwell would be outraged at, if he was around today and considering his continual topic of English pride, CCTV numbers and internet snooping would be low on the list if at all, if you fail understand that, then you've failed to grasp his true intent and message...

Have to put in some correction. Its your government's majority discussing what it thinks to be the country's security needs whilst privacy advocates ain't this enthusiast about the proposed and imposed laws and regulations.
And let's be frank, the control imposed on your intelligence gathering agencies is a farce just like in many other countries around the globe.

I know all this and Orwell's book I have at home.

The BBC has become a government outlet where criticism on the official point of view is outlawed and channel4 is even worse.
Just take a look at the coverage of the war in Syria and Iraq whilst UK special forces were training jihadists in Jordan.
