Don't get too exited Athe you tosser! Curling is of Scottish origin. Isn't that your neighbors? :roll:
Curling was invented in medieval Scotland, with the first written reference to a contest using stones on ice coming from the records of Paisley Abbey, Renfrewshire, in February 1541.
Apparently the Canadians picked up the phrase "stones on ice"... :-) It's not what Carpe think, "stoned on ice" :laugh:
